The following movie clip is a very accurate example of a transfer using the Cine-Tranz transfer unit. The film captured was 1950's standard 8mm considered to be in good overall condition with excellent colour. We used a Eumig P8 projector with variable projection speed and a Panasonic DVX102B camera.
There are many factors that govern transfer quality such as the type of projector, camera quality, white balance settings on the camera, focus accuracy during set-up and of course the actual film quality. Some results may be better than the above example and experimentation is well advised. The standard Cine-Tranz is not considered to produce a professional transfer result when compared to our Cine-TranzPRO system that is designed as a fully professional transfer system.
